HTA Capacity Building Workshop 2014

During the 6th Meeting of the Health Technology Assessment Network of the Americas (RedETSA) held in Mexico City from November 3 to 7, 2014, the 10th National Forum on Health Technologies took place; The III HTAi Regional Meeting and the Advanced Course on Health Technology Assessment (ATS) by the London School of Economics.

The meeting was organized by the National Center for Technological Excellence in Health (CENETEC) in Mexico, with the collaboration of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO / WHO) and the International Society for Health Technology Assessment (HTAi). The role of ATS entities in several countries, the dissemination and implementation of ATS in the Americas region were discussed.

The event was attended by the HTAsia Link and HTAi networks and the Ministries of Health and specialized institutions from different countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Paraguay, Uruguay and Peru.

VII Meeting of RedETSA

The VII Meeting of the Network for the Evaluation of Health Technologies in the Americas (RedETSA) took place in Santiago, Chile, on September 10 and 11, 2015. On the first day of the event, an open session was held, and the implications of the Use of cost-effectiveness thresholds in the decision-making process for the incorporation of health technologies. The second day was an exclusive session for the members of the Network where the Network’s progress and its institutions, topics of interest and future projects were discussed.
